The Department of Infrastructure says it's considering restricting vehicle access at Scarlett.
Minister Michelle Haywood faced a question for written answer from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about seawater on the road affecting the sea wall near the visitor centre.
In her response, Dr Haywood said work was carried out on the wall in 2023, but it's unlikely water would affect it.
She added repairs to the access road are being considered, which could include restricting vehicle access.
