Six schools on the Island have raised almost £23,000 holding dress down days in the past three years.
The figures were given by Education Minister Daphne Caine in a written reply to a question from Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh.
He'd asked for details involving all schools, but agreed to details from just six: Ballacottier Primary, Ballakermeen, Castle Rushen, QEII, Ramsey Grammar and St Ninian's.
In all cases, the days are voluntary and school student councils choose the good causes supported.
