The Island's financial regulator is warning scammers are trying to impersonate it in an attempt to defraud companies.
The Financial Services Authority says it's been made aware of a letter asking for a £600 payment to be made to it.
But it's a scam - and the FSA says it's an amateurish attempt using its logo.
It says anybody who's dealing with those behind the scam should notify their local police force.
