Sarah's Law supporters to hold demonstration outside Tynwald this morning

Petition with over 4000 signatures will be presented to Minister Earnshaw

In a Tynwald sitting set to be dominated by the VAT sharing agreement it will be the contentious issue of Sarah's Law that will steal the focus earlier on in the day.

Thousands of signatures backing it’s introduction are set to be handed over to Home Affairs Minister, Adrian Earnshaw.

A Facebook group backing it's introduction has attracted over 2000 on Island fans, with way over 4000 signatures on the petition.

Sarah’s Law endeavours to give parents the right to seek classified information regarding sex offenders in the event there are any living in close proximity to their family home; it’s seen as a child protection tool.

Minister Earnshaw has publicly stated that he feels its introduction on the Isle of Man is not needed currently.

We spoke to Margaret Marley, one of the key campaigners, she is urging any supporters to come down and take part in their peaceful demonstration this morning at 10 o clock outside the Tynwald building.
