Work on the 102nd movie to be filmed on the Isle of Man will begin at the end of this month.
A Christmas Candle will star Laxey girl Samantha Barks who has been winning rave reviews for her part in the Hollywood blockbuster Les Miserables.
The festive story about miracles is set in rural England in 1890 and will also feature singer Susan Boyle and actor John Hannah.
The film is the latest development in the ongoing partnership between the Isle of Man Government and Pinewood Shepperton and is due for release in December.
