The Salvation Army's says it's helping more than 40 people who are struggling to manage around £2.2 million worth of debt.
The organisation, based in the Isle of Man Business Park in Braddan, says its debt advice service is seeing more people struggling with the cost of living.
This week marks Debt Awareness Week and the Salvation Army says debt shouldn't be embarrassing, or seen as a personal failure.
