Sailings today will set off earlier than scheduled.
This morning's 10am service to Heysham will now depart at 9am, whilst its return previously scheduled for 2.15pm will get going an hour earlier at 1.15pm.
The Steam Packet says it's due to poor weather forecast - with up to 50mph winds expected.
Passengers are being asked to check in for the morning boat no later than 8.30am and 12.45pm for the afternoon crossing.
