Anyone planning to have a bonfire this weekend has been urged to take extra care.
Bonfire Night will be officially celebrated on Tuesday but many people are expected to have firework displays and fires over the weekend.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says if simple steps are taken events will go without incident.
Those planning to hold a bonfire have been asked to contact the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to alert them so that emergency calls are not made unnecessarily .
