Problems with an evacuation slide meant this morning's Manxman sailing had to be delayed.
The new Steam Packet ferry had a problem with a line on its marine evacuation system - a critical piece of safety equipment.
The line came loose as the sailing was due to depart, and workers using a crane had to stow it securely.
The Heysham sailing left port just over an hour late, and the company says it's investigating to make sure it doesn't happen again.
