After decades in Sulby the Royal Manx Agricultural Show is set to make a permanent move the other side of the Island from this year.
The show will now be held at Knockaloe Farm in Patrick after the leece ran out on the Sulby Showfield.
In the early days the show used to alternate between Sulby and Douglas, the whole operation moved to the North in 1990, it’s remained there ever since.
Planning is now well underway for this years event, scheduled for the 12th and 13th August, it will be the first time the show has ever been hosted at Knockaloe.
The Trade exhibitors have been asked to contact the organisers if they have any enquiries, but ultimately they’re hoping for an easy transition.
