Castletown MHK Richard Ronan has resigned from his position within the Department of Social Care.
Mr Ronan has been a member for the department since he was elected in 2011.
He is currently a member for a number of statutory boards and steering groups - he holds a post in the Department of Infrastructure and is vice chairman of the Post Office.
Mr Ronan says he is stepping down from Social Care with a view to concentrate on his work on local authority reform and work in other departments with the Post Office.
Minister Chris Robertshaw says he is sorry to see Mr Ronan leave his department but understands his reasons for doing so.
