Operations have returned to normal at the airport today.
Earlier, a light aircraft suffered a burst tyre as it came in to land.
That forced the Castletown facility to close both its runways while it dealt with the incident.
However, the plane has now been removed and the runways reopened – passengers are being advised to check online for any disruption.
