Olympian Roger Black will be joining the panel of experts for tonight’s Walk Talk ahead of this years Parish Walk event at the Manx Museum.
Those taking part this year will be able to receive motivational advice and fitness tips from the panel, Roger will be drawing on his experience as a Silver medal winner in both the Olympics and World Championships.
Last year he reached Braddan, this year he hopes to get to Rushen as he then has to leave the Island due to prior commitments.
This years event is looking like it could be the best attended in the walks history, with tens of thousands of pounds expected to be raised for charity.
Roger will be offering words of encouragement and motivation tonight, but admitted to 3FM he thinks he wouldn’t stand a chance of completing the full 85-mile course.
