A motoring business on Peel Road in Douglas says it has seen a major downturn in trade since the start of the roadworks.
First Class Motors says it wasn't properly consulted before the start of the work currently taking place.
Proprietor Rikki Murphy says despite having appeals for compensation refused by government he is hoping to stay afloat until the project has finished at the end of March.
