9000 people will be making their way to the concert at rush hour time
Thousands of people will be flocking to see Elton John this evening at the Nobles Park site.
The living legend will be performing a string of his hits spanning the last 5 decades.
There is anticipated to be serious gridlock on the roads in the build up to the concert as the rush hour traffic will clash with the 9000 fans making their way to the tent.
Inspector Richard Power has asked people making their way out of Douglas to avoid Glencrutchery Road and the Bray Hill area.
He said motorists need to give themselves an extra half an hour for their journeys, and most importantly, be patient.
