Roads will be closed in the west of the Island this morning as a huge cycling event gets underway.
The British National Cycling Championships begin today with Time Trial Championships around St Johns.
The event will see roads closed from 9.30am until 10.30pm although residents will still have access to their homes at times during the day.
The course runs through St Johns, out to the Peel coast road up to Kirk Michael and then back along the TT course to Ballacraine.
