Police have confirmed part of the Mountain Road is closed because of a serious crash at Windy Corner.
Officers say emergency services are currently at the scene, whilst the route is shut between Brandywell and the Creg-ny-Baa.
Meanwhile, motorists are being urged to use an alternative route.
