If you're taking to the waters around the Island's coast, tell someone where you're going before you head out.
That's the advice from Ramsey's Coastguard and RNLI team, who are urging the public to let someone know their route before going to the sea.
It comes after coastguards were called out when a member of the public spotted a windsurfer in possible danger.
The team say it's important to inform someone what time you're leaving, where you're going and when you'll be back before participating in water sports.
