Douglas RNLI crews were called yesterday morning to help a fishing boat suffering with engine failure.
Just before 8am they went to the aid of the 10-metre vessel approximately one mile off Onchan Head which had two people on board.
They were found to be safe before the boat was safely towed back to the Battery Pier.
It's the second fishing boat to have been hit with engine problems off Douglas this week.
