A local bakery in the west of the Island has announced it will be closing after struggling with rising costs and financial pressures.
On Facebook, Jack Griffiths, the owner of GG Bakery on Michael Street in Peel, said the arrival of a newborn son had highlighted the need for stability.
Jack said loyal community support had never been the issue, but warned many small businesses are facing impossible pressures with little support, describing the current climate as unsustainable.
No closing date has been confirmed, with the business expected to remain open for now ahead of the Isle of Man TT period.
