Rise in Manx drug addicts 'kicking the habit'

A local addiction charity says it's seeing more people kick their drug habits.

Motiv8 Addiction Services has revealed the findings of a major research project into drug use and subsequent recovery efforts on the Island.

Motiv8 commissioned the project, with research carried out by the National Centre for Social Research in the UK.

Director Thea Ozanturk says the study considered all elements of why a person first develops a problem and how they go about beating it:
