The Island's construction sector has seen a 15 per cent increase in jobs since 2014.
The figure was confirmed in the House of Keys this week following a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge to the Chief Minister.
She asked if he'd make a statement on the level of activity and growth in the sector.
He confirmed it now makes the 7th largest contribution to Manx economic activity, and also employs 5 per cent of the Manx workforce.
There number of students studying construction has also increased by 24 per cent in comparison to last year.
