Greenlanes can be used to access vantage points on the course to enjoy the views, but trail riders are not permitted to drive away from legal routes.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says off-piste riding may result in damage to the Island's heathland and pose a risk to upland wildlife, which includes rare birds.
Motorcyclists are also reminded not to ride in plantations or off road at the Ayres National Reserve, and those caught offending will be prosecuted.
