The Isle of Man has submitted its first review as it looks to retain UNESCO Biosphere status.
The Department for Enterprise says the government needs to reapply every ten years for the status, even if the Island already meets the criteria.
And it adds it wants to help people understand what Biosphere status means for the Island over the coming decade.
The outcome of the review is expected next summer.
