Manx Utilities has written to residents in Peel as it prepares to close part of the town's promenade for more than three months.
The organisation is carrying out work to upgrade the west's sewage system, including at its pumping station on Shore Road.
It says it'll need to close the promenade outside the building from Monday, September 21.
The work will continue over winter, with the prom set to reopen in January.
