More details are beginning to emerge concerning the deaths of two local men in England over the weekend.
They were found in accommodation above a pub in Bolton.
One of the two has been named in a UK publication as Torin Lakeman, a Manx student currently at Aberystwyth University.
It's reported that the pure form of ecstasy tablet known as MDMA played a part in the deaths - as a consequence the university has issued a warning about the drug.
Results of the post-mortem and toxicology reports are expected to be released in due course.
