Emails can be reported to the Manx government's cyber security service.
If you have received an email which you are not sure about you can report it to the Manx government, said the police.
In a recent Tweet the constabulary said you can forward suspicious material to the Office of Cyber Security & Information, which is part of the Home Affairs department.
The government said the service provides a growing library of cyber security tips, advice and resources to help keep yourself secure when using computers, devices and the Internet.
A constabulary spokesman said if you are suspicious after being asked to provide bank or account details you should forward the email to: sers@ocsia.im.
Received an email which you’re not quite sure about? Is it asking you to login to your account, or maybe to "verify" your payment details?
