A Douglas man who's accused of threatening to kill two police officers has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
42-year-old Brian Eric Lowther, of Lheannag Park, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today.
He's been charged with using or threatening unlawful violence towards the police officers which caused them to fear for their personal safety.
It relates to an incident at his home address just before 6.30pm on Wednesday, May 3rd - firearms officers and two negotiators were called to the scene.
The case was adjourned until May 11th so a psychiatric report could be compiled.
An application for bail was refused and he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
