Some Sky customers are being given gestures of ‘goodwill’ after a mix up over VAT payments.
It affects numerous people who were mistakenly told that the 20 per cent charge wasn’t applicable to Island residents earlier this month.
The company says those customers will receive correspondence this week offering a token gesture.
A spokesperson for Sky says customer service staff are being given further training to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
