Onchan Commissioners plan on closing a recycling site this week.
The local authority says the decision's being taken because of concerns about their staff's safety in traffic.
It explains due to location of the Port Jack facility, workers cannot park the wagon in a safe place while unloading bins.
The Commissioners say they'll be closing it on Thursday, September 25 and will look options for alternative recycling sites in the village.
