If you see lots of old fashioned cars on the Island this weekend it's because the Manx Classic Motor Race is on.
The event, which has been running for over 20 years, gets underway this afternoon.
It's a record entry with 92 Classic cars taking on the Island's roads.
Today cars will be in action starting from the TT Grandstand travelling through the Governor's Dip to finish near The Nook on the TT Course 'old road'.
The event takes place from 12noon to 3PM and from 6pm to 10.30pm. Surrounding roads are closed as a result.
Tomorrow the drivers tackle the challenging Sloc Hill climb in the south of the Island.
On Saturday the Manx Classic moves to the north of the Island, running out of Ramsey.
Peter Duke, one of the directors of the Manx Motor Racing Club told 3FM that from a spectators point of view it's worth heading out to watch. (audio above)
