Police are appealing for witnesses after what police describe as a 'reckless attack' in Peel.
Overnight on Saturday vandals set fire to a plastic bin on the promenade.
The arson attack was behind the bowling green cafe and officers say it had the potential to burn down the whole café block causing serious damage.
