Ramsey Town Commissioners say they'll allow traders to use A-boards on the town's streets.
But there'll be strict rules on their size, positioning and number.
The boards were banned in Douglas after the council said they can present problems for people with sight problems.
But board member Juan McGuinness says they can help promote businesses in Ramsey, particularly during hard times:
