Proposals for a new housing development in Ramsey have been met with almost unanimous support following consultations.
Blythe Church Investments Ltd submitted plans for Sulby Riverside earlier this year, with Cornerstone Architects overseeing the two-week consultation.
Developers confirmed that no construction would take place on the Poyll Dooey salt marsh nature reserve or the river's edge and the approved in-principle application has been submitted for zoning matters to be addressed.
The site has a north and south split, with the southern area to be built and the north remaining an open space.
Sulby Riverside has been proposed with the Isle of Man Housing Assessment published in May in mind, with some 9,900 new homes needed here.
