A Ramsey man facing drugs charges has been remanded in custody over claims he tried to send more than £34,000 to the UK in a fast food van
Lee Little of St Paul's Square appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 30-year old is accused of possessing cannabis with intent to supply it, possessing cocaine and diazepam, possessing criminal property, and attempting to remove criminal property.
The court heard police found more than £34,000 in a burger van Mr Little is said to have arranged to be sent to the UK on a ferry on January 28.
When police raided his home and Bay Wash in Douglas where he works, they’re said to have found class A, B and C drugs worth almost £14,000.
Mrs Hughes refused a bail application and remanded him in custody to appear in court again on July 20.
