A man from Ramsey has admitted attacking his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend and smashing his car windows with a skateboard.
Ciaran Kaighin of Glen Elfin Road in Ramsey appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 21 year old pleaded guilty to affray and criminal damage but denied harassment.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the court Kaighin attacked the man outside Boots in Strand Street on October 10 but ran off when police were called.
Later that morning, he smashed four car windows after the man he’d attacked left his vehicle in the Bottleneck Car Park on Douglas Promenade.
Kaighin was bailed and will appear again on December 19 for a pre-trial review.
