A consultation has been launched to gather views on extending the boundary of Ramsey.
The land in question currently sits within the parish districts of Lezayre and Garff, and the town Commissioners have made the application to the Department of Infrastructure.
A public inquiry is required to take place for people to have their say, with the consultation helping to inform whether the boundary should be adjusted.
If so, it would be subject to Tynwald approval.
A copy of the Commissioners' application and a plan showing the areas involved can be found here - views should be submitted by Wednesday August 9.
