Rain forces cancellation of days racing

Races now to run tomorrow at 12.15pm

Today’s entire racing schedule has now been abandoned as the rain starts to come down heavy around most of the TT course.

Up to this point the bad weather has dictated the day’s events with the Arai Parade Lap the only event that went ahead uninterrupted.

Despite the protests of riders John McGuiness, Bruce Anstey, Guy Martin and Keith Amor the organisers decided to run the Supersport 2nd race at 12.40; it was red flagged due to the rain in the second lap.

Keith Amor came off his bike sustaining no injuries, Mark Parrett wasn’t so lucky however, damaging his ankle.

The official word is that the racing will now take place tomorrow at 12.15pm with the Mountain Road shutting at 11.00am.
