Southern 100 organisers say they're hoping to make massive improvements to their race control centre.
In a planning application, they've asked for permission to get rid of the current centre - two portable buildings stacked on top of each other.
The plans would see a two-storey building with improved facilities on the current site on the Castletown by-pass.
Last year, the Southern 100 club had to apply retrospectively to keep its current building because earlier planning approval ran out after 10 years.
In its latest application, the club says the ground floor would house a commentary booth, storage areas for equipment and other facilities.
The first floor would accommodate race officials, including the clerk of the course and chief medical officer.
In total, 18 staff are based in race control during motorsport events.
The club says the building would be a steel structure, with cladding to help it blend into its surroundings.
