Douglas North MHK David Ashford will ask Treasury Minister Alf Cannan in the House of Keys next week.
Mr Ashford wants to know how much was paid out for temporary sickness absence in the last three years.
The sitting will take place in Douglas next week on Tuesday, December 19 at 10am.
