The head of English at an Isle of Man secondary school is due back in court today charged in connection with attempting to engage in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
James John Barefield was arrested in Kirk Michael on the 28th October.
No pleas were made at his court appearance three weeks ago.
The case was adjourned until today where the 31 year old will appear at Southwark Crown Court.
The case is being dealt with there as the Manx legislation does not cover the specific internet offence.
His bail conditions mean that he cannot return to the island.
