Voters are going to the polls today to elect a new Douglas councillor.
A by-election is taking place to find a new representative for the Athol Ward.
The two candidates vying for the position are Thomas Gelling and Elizabeth Quirk.
One of them will replace Alan Quirk who stood down earlier this year.
The voting station at Willaston Methodist Church is open until 8pm.
