The public have been promised a say on the future of the Post Office as it considers a five-year strategy.
The organisation's chairman Julie Edge MHK reassured her House of Keys colleagues this week as she faced questions about possible corporatisation.
Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker wanted to know what benefits she expected to reap from the move.
She told him it would make the Post Office more competitive, and added people will be able to submit their views before any decision is made:
