Police are telling the public to stay away from fields with cows and calves.
It comes following a landowner in Tromode contacting authorities when people where in a field with livestock, and had been drinking.
Officers have warned cows can be protective of their young - so people are potentially putting themselves at risk.
As a result, authorities will be patrolling the area and will support the landowner should any offences be committed.
