What do you think about the possibility of a new schedule for next years TT?
A public consultation is being launched later this week to get the views of residents on possible changes to the racing and qualifying structure at the 2020 event.
Among the alterations being suggested are the practice week starting a day later on Sunday, May 31; the final qualifying session moving to an afternoon slot on June 5; and race days on June 6, 8 and 10 starting with a one-lap solo warm up session in the morning.
Officials say the proposals aim to improve the experience for spectators whilst also reducing demand on racers, teams, volunteers, businesses and residents.
The consultation opens this Friday (December 13) when it will become available on the government consultation hub.
