Residents will be given the chance to voice their opinions this evening over the future of a care home in the west of the Island.
It was announced last month the Corrin Memorial Home in Peel is planning to shut in July with the Board of Directors stating they can't make it viable in the long run.
The decision has sparked concern amongst residents and politicians and a petition to save the facility has gathered hundreds of signatures.
In a statement last week, Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, said DHSC is working with trustees and directors of the home on all available options.
Now, a public meeting chaired by Captain of the Parish, Alan Corlett, will take place at Corrin Hall on Derby Road in Peel tonight so members of the public can give their thoughts on the situation.
It'll get underway from 7pm with anyone attending asked to start arriving from 6.45pm.
