Today marks the last Friday before Christmas - many offices will close early and pubs are set to be full from lunchtime.
The day has earned the title ‘Black Eye Friday’ - where police will increase patrols to keep incidents of anti-social behaviour down to a minimum.
The ‘Pub Watch’ scheme will be running in full effect and will work alongside police.
