Proposed sugar tax splits opinions on street

Plans for a new tax on sugary drinks have divided opinions on the Isle of Man.

Next year Tynwald will look at new proposals to introduce a 'sugar tax' - if they get the go-ahead it will be rolled out in 2018. 
 
Our listeners have been sharing their thoughts - some say they think it's 'fair and might help protect young people' with others questioning whether it would work considering cigarettes and alcohol are taxed but people still consume them.
