Proof of Age Cards to be Accepted Form of I.D in the New Year

In yesterdays sitting of Tynwald it was agreed upon that new Proof of Age cards issued by the UK Government will now be a further acceptable form of proof of age.

Proof of Age cards issued by the Isle of Man’s Secondary School will also now be accepted by licensees.

With the new measure introduced its hoped that it’ll be made easier for visitors to the Island to have their age verified as and when they need to.

The additional forms of I.D are to be accepted from January 1st.
