A law researcher at an Oxford University says it's vital to register to vote in this year's election - because a few votes can make a huge difference.
Professor Peter Edge of Oxford Brookes University has posted to his blog showing votes in Manx elections carry 20 times as much weight as their UK equivalent - and 200 times as much as in the USA.
And he points to some very close results in recent years - including two seats in 2016 which were decided with margins of 19 and seven votes.
He also says younger voters should make sure they take part in the election, to make sure their views are represented.
